The InVia Foundation is a non-profit, (501-3C) organization. Our core mission is to serve victims of violent trauma with technological tools and services to support their transition from victimhood to healing regardless of gender, race and ethnicity.

The InVia Foundation's core philosophy is that an individual's path from a single or group of traumatic moments requires a tailored path to one's recovery. In that, we acknowledge and support the need for a variable support system vs. a one-size-fits-all approach.

mission

The InVia Foundation is a non-profit organization (501-3C) whose sole purpose is to serve victims of violent trauma through web tools and services regardless of ethnicity, age, religion, gender and sexual orientation. To this end, we endeavor to improve the quality of life and well-being of the individual while reducing the fiscal consequences affecting families, communities, businesses and governments at no cost to the individual.

pathfinder mobile app (2023)

Pathfinder is the foundation's flagship project. Upon completion, this will be a free mobile app available on the Android and iTunes marketplaces.

The intent is to provide individuals with mobile devices and internet access with a reliable tool to 1) assist them in identifying their stage of trauma 2) usher them to the appropriate level of support based on their geography and 3) serve as a trusted tool during moments of crisis.

Imani Kaliid boasts a successful career in Digital Production and Distribution with world leaders including Sony Pictures, 20^th Century Fox, and The Walt Disney Company.

With a Double Major in Sociology (Criminology) and African Studies as well as a Master’s degree in Business Competitiveness and Innovation, Kaliid is personally and professionally devoted to saving victims in need and helping survivors to process the trauma, heal, and find happiness. In fact, the words ‘In’ and ‘Via’ translate to “on the way to...” in Latin. Kaliid’s goal is for people to be “on the way to a path of healing.”

Recently, Kaliid published his first book, entitled “There Was Violence” (available on Amazon, Apple, and Google Books), a gripping memoir based on true events that explore Kaliid’s turbulent journey spanning from the mid-1970s through the late 80s.

Publishing this book serves as a relatable testimony and unfortunately, a common experience with violence for multitudes of victims and survivors who remain silent, struggling, or healing, which is the purpose behind Kaliid's mission to pursue a direct avenue to connect and contribute to the world in establishing the InVia Foundation
